I'm no hand model*, but pictured you can see how I hold both front feet and back feet for trimming! Once you grab a foot, simply let the hedgehog try to crawl away while holding their foot steady. Hold on gently but firmly - even if they tug their leg, they are unlikely to hurt themselves in the process while you get some snips in.
